Techniques: Statistical Analysis - Correlation matrix, trends, correlation.
An analytics report of an educational institute. The project had certain questions and KPIs as main goals. Additional insights were given which were well received.
Important KPIs requested:
Study progress, contact rates and cancellation rates
Questions to be answered using the data:
- Are there differences in study progress (points earned) between study programmes?
- Which age group has the best study progression?
- Are women more likely to quit than men?
- Do emails have an influence on cancellations?
- Add a few more questions
Additional Insights delivered:
which course has the highest points
which course is picked by women and which by men
which gender has the biggest points
which student id has the highest mail count
mail count average
which age group has the highest points
which gender consists most of the age group
which course has the average age, min age and max age
which course has been dropped quickest (difference between dates filtered by course). Although this needs context as to what the difference in dates mean, it could mean anything maybe the course was for a short while designed for small duration of time.
